Asin Thottumkal, famous in the name of Asin is a well known and popular actress of the Indian film industry. Besides her active participation in the Hindi movies of bollywood, she is also quite popular in the Tamil and Telegu movies of the south movie industry of India. Asin made her debut in the film industry with a Malayalam film “Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka” in the year 2001. After doing couple of films in south she made her debut in Hindi films opposite superstar Aamir Khan in “Ghajini” in the year 2008. Ghajini was a block buster hit in the box office and collected record revenue of 100 cores. Asin bagged the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award for her excellent role play of Kalpana Shetty in the movie Ghajini.
