The LTTE supporters have gathered at a corner near Hilton hotel where the President had stayed and they have conducted a demonstrated protest against the President by burning a dummy of his and they have shouted holding boards stating about military crimes.
At the same time, a special event took place as the Sri Lankans who have gathered at the other side of the hotel have conducted a demonstration against Prabhakaran, while praising the President. The President has taken his vehicle to the side where the Sri Lankans have gathered to thank them. It has been a dramatic scene where the President has gone to touch the hands of the Sri Lankans in order to thank them.
Presidential media unit has stated that the President has acted recklessly without following the instructions of the Scotland Yard.
However, the Police have taken measures to make sure that the two groups of protestors do not enter into a quarrel.
It is also reported that the President who had got ready to go to Sri Lankan embassy has cancelled his visit as the LTTE supporters have thrown eggs and tomatoes at his vehicle. At the same time following the advice of the Police he had cancelled his speech that was to be delivered at the Commonwealth Economical society.
It is reported that the LTTE supporters have thoroughly got organized this time and it was also reported that the Tamils from other parts of the Europe too have gathered at London for the demonstration and protest.
