This movie which is soon to be released in the cinemas has been a hit amongst the masses before, i.e. the prior prequel starring Hollywood’s most famous action heroes. The Expendables 2 2012 edition has been directed by Simon West and maintains some of the best actors who’ve been known to the audience for their respective roles in some of Hollywood’s Award winning releases. The movie is the sequel to the prior version where our famous heroes Sylvester Stallone (Barney) and his team lead their way to dismiss oppression parties; however in this movie the plot is based on a territorial revenge for the Expendables who’re out to avenge their brothers-in-arms. In the movie Stallone, Statham, Lundgren, Couture and Crews are the noble mercenaries who avenge their friend’s death (Mickey Rourke) who was murdered by an assassin crew called the ‘Sangunaires’. Another addition is the beautiful but tough Fiona who wants to avenge her father’s death as well and hence wants to be part of The Expendables in their quest for revenge after Vilain (Jean-Claude Van Damme).
The story proceeds as Fiona gets captured by Vilain in her private revenge thus complicating the entire matter for the Expendables. After kidnapping Mr. Church along with the CIA package, the group eventually discovers the importance of the package which contains Cesium that Vilain wants to release on the protesting mob that threatens the uprising against President Dogot.
Hence the Expendables now face an entire mission where they must save Fiona, destroy a dictator’s evil plans of destroying innocent people and hence avenge their team mate’s brutal murder. Is that too much of action for you?
